Elements of fastening of a steering wheel on models without a safety pillow

The prevention

On models with a safety air cushion at work about gauges of collision of a steering column and the panel of devices for an exception of operation of a pillow of safety remove a wire of weight from the accumulator and wait at least 1 minute before the work beginning.

1. Establish forward wheels for movement directly forward.
2. On models without a safety air cushion unscrew screws of fastening and remove the button of a sound signal.
3. On models with a safety air cushion, unscrew bolts крепящие the block of an air cushion of safety to a steering wheel.
4. Remove a safety pillow.
5. Disconnect electric sockets of a pillow of safety and a sound signal.
6. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a steering wheel.
7. Note position of a nave of a steering wheel in relation to a steering shaft.
8. Disconnect an electric socket of system of the cruise-control.
9. Using a special stripper, remove a steering wheel from a shaft.


Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Check up that have combined a label on a nave of a steering wheel with a label on the helmsman to a shaft.
