THE GENERAL DATA

Replacement of wheels

At replacement of wheels is inexpedient to change a direction of rotation of the tyre as their repeated extra earnings causes the raised deterioration. At appreciable deterioration of their forward tyres it is recommended to change in places with back tyres. At replacement of the tyres, less worn out tyres always establish ahead.

At change of wheels do not damage a varnish covering of disks from easy alloys.

Bolts of fastening of wheels tighten перекрестно for some passes.

New tyres have a smooth external surface and consequently it is necessary to make обкатку tyres. Initial deterioration at обкатке does the tyre of rougher.

Storage of tyres

Tyres should be stored in a cool, dark, dry and aired premise.

Balancing of wheels

Pressure check in tyres

Review frequency – once a month or at car service.

It is desirable to check pressure before long trips as thus there is a maximum temperature loading on tyres. At movement on the big distances on high speed at the lowered pressure in tyres it is spent more energy for tyre deformation therefore it overheats and there can be a branch of a layer of a profile or even tyre rupture. Also, at the lowered pressure the fuel expense raises.

Check of a profile of tyres

Intensive deterioration of tyres is promoted by a sports manner of driving, intensive accelerations and sharp braking.


The prevention

Tyres can be maintained to achievement of depth of a profile of 1.6 mm, that is profile flutes should have depth on all surface of the tyre not less than 1.6 mm. However with a view of safety it is recommended to make change of tyres at depth of a profile of 3 mm.

Tyres M+S on snow have sufficient coupling with road at depth of a profile not less than 4 mm.

It is necessary to survey the tyre on presence of cuts and to establish their depth. If cuts reach a cord, the steel cord will be корродировать from a getting moisture.
