8.2.1. Introduction

Because of complexity of an automatic transmission and necessity of use of special adaptations for the majority of operations on service in the given chapter the description of operations of general diagnostics, routine maintenance, adjustment and removal and transmission installation is resulted only.

The transmission represents very difficult unit, and repair it it is necessary to make in a specialised workshop. Before transmission repair it is necessary to define character of malfunction which can be electric, mechanical or hydraulic.
